Background
The company SH a.s was established in 1925 as a subsidiary of Louis Friedman, incorporated, located in Vienna, Austria. Their specialization is in engineer and manufacturing of lubricant formations.
Initially the subsidiary which is now SH a.s located weedy Brno Czech Republic, started out as a supplier of factor part from parent company.
1939 company has hired 120 employees in total and began to manufacture the bearings and railway car couplings among other railroad related components. During the war periods 1939 to 1945, production was modified to produce a variety of hydraulic valves for military applications, including submarines.
Nationalization:
In 1948 the company was nationalized and its engineering and manufacturing resources were re- focused on railroad applications. During this nationalization company has changed his focus and starts manufacture the new products like new heating system for railroad cars and manufacturing of centralized grease lubrication system was restarted and hydraulic engineering science became integral part of process. After 1948 the company was formally know as ZTS Juranovy Zavody Brno.
It remained nationalized till 1990 and major(ip) changes made during last 10 years from 1980 to 1990. During this period newly introduced R&D efforts resulted in design, development, and production of lubrication equipment reflecting a wide range of application.
regeneration:
Transformation starts in 1987 when company start negotiated a licensing agreement with a French firm, Poclain Hydraulics, for manufacturing the radial piston hydraulic motors and components. A major transformation came in 1992 when ZTS Juranovy Zavody was privatized under Czechoslovak privatization program.
