The most that African-Americans are brought up in history is when they are being associated with slavery and friction match rights. However, Black people have contributed more to our country than just slavery and represent rights. They were inventors, entrepreneurs, and soldiers too. They do not get the science that they earned and deserved. The ancestry of land War I stirred up hopes of equal rights and privileges for blackened people. In fact, some restrictions were lifted off of them. When the sentiment of serving in the war came up in the black community, there were opposing sides.
