1. Holden is clearly deeply troubled close to assort finale we notice it throughout the book that Allies death was one and only(a) of the most traumatic experiences in Holdens life. Its one of the main reasons Holden starts having his breakdown. He depicts many characteristics about Allie. He talks about how red his hair and that no matter how far away he was you could always sense him because of his bright red hair. he was sitting there on his bike outside the fence, about a hundred and fifty dollar bill yards behind me. Thats the kind of red hair he had.

At this point in the book, the loneliness is creeping on to him and to get his mind off of the mediocre empty lilac room club he thought of giving basketball team a call, but was to afraid of getting caught by his parents he states that his mom is psychic and knows when hes going to call. He starts to describe phoebe in full detail that sounds actually similar to description that he gave about Allie. Has red hair, intelligent, roller-skate unaired and really misses her and all the memories he had with her.

Just as ducks reincarnate to a warmer place to live during the winter and get into back during spring, the migration represents Holdens experience of losing his younger brother Allie. But I think the return symbolizes Holdens trauma or the way he criticizes things in life may only be irregular; it also shows that the migration and the return of ducks like his mental state may become a cycle that he needs to bruise within himself.
4. Holden elaborates on the suitcases because he is trying to sire a point that people judge others based on their belongings, in this case, suitcases.
