Flash dressings are used throughout the play to show the reader that Willy is spillage crazy and to show that things happened in his past. Willys mind is not stable and much then half of the play is in flashbacks. At the beginning of the novel he goes back in time to when Biff and expert were teenagers and Biff was perfect. Biff contend football and Ebbets Game was the greatest day of his life. (Miller, 1947) This shows that Willy hurtle everything into Biff and did not care much for Happy. later the flashback Willy comes back to real life but only for a flake before he goes into another flashback, but this time it is more serious. Willy has flashbacks throughout the play to assistance the reader understand what in truth happened in Willys life. Biff and Willy will never be the same after this flashback.
