Psychological Testing
As a prevalent rule most individuals can define what a rill is as long as it is within a ad hoc context. Psychological tests are defined as formalise measures of mental functioning ( mental test, n.d.) In psychology the use of psychological tests are common and include a number of forms.
As a rule they are exams that are written, verbal or visual observations that are given to determine cognitive or emotional functioning. They are mainly used to determine things such as mental office, personality, neurological function, and achievement. A large voice of these types of tests are considered to be objective and quantifiable. The concept of quantifiable refers to the ability to reduce the results down to concrete number scores or measurements. However this does not guarantee the reliability or lustiness of the tests or its results. Testing in the psychological field is generally blurred a bit as categories often hold up one into other (Hogan, 2007).
