Counter transference occurs when the counselor projects their own unconscious steamy needs on to the lymph node or when the counselor begins to have intercourse irrational feelings towards their client. Another counter transference exit can occur and adversely affect therapy would be when the set of the client differs from that of the counselor. I can use myself in this example.
