Introduction

Why Study heathen Anthropology
We study pagan anthropology to have a better translateing of our own culture also, to have a better understanding of others cultures. Studying cultural anthropology allows us to understand why cultures that argon different from ours do the things that they do. It allows us to have a better understanding of the style people think. Taking this class as allowed me to think about the saying if you walked a mile in their shoes. I happen that if I learn more about what their culture is then I will be able to better understand what they are feeling or going through.

Anthropology is how humans (individuals) behave because of what they believe. Human behavior is solely what we are brought up to believe. Our belief in something shows us or teaches us how we should behave. As a Christian we are taught many things in the Bible, we are taught the commandments. Which teaches us how to behave because, of what we are taught to believe in.
Culture and theology go hand in hand. Our culture is greatly influenced by our theology.
