A temper I like in the novel is Broadbent, Broadbents fictional character is displayed as a superior, brave man who has great leading skills and isnt afraid to face death. He was a depute corporal who became a sergeant and is quite inquisitive. He starts by playing the favorite wishing game of the men, Broadbent takes the food from embrowns haversack after he dies. He as well as attacks Cleary as he believes clearly is cheating with the bread. Broadbent has the patience and abstemiousness to shoot renaud after he has been hit by a flamethrower. He is with the soldier in arras and in the terminal battle at amiens he and the soldier are the scarcely two left of their company.
An incident that I dont like is when Broadbent dies from loss of blood, calling for his mother after he loses his leg at the knee.
Broadbent dies like a little boy too weeping, calling for his mother. (page 204). Broadbent believes men should die with pridefulness, as at the advance attack, he said I know it-Im dying-god and Im and glad. I dont take to go back like this. (page 204).
I dearly enchant this part of moment because of how Broadbent talks about men having pride when they die. It gives a soldier a little bit of endurance when they feel that fear had over taken them. But no matter what it takes inside of a soldiers heart and soul there will be pride that will neer go away, because soldiers are made to be strong, emotionless, loyal and well-nigh of all honorable. If you want to get a full essay, golf-club it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
